Inside this issue... He Is Risen!Hi <<First Name>>, When you think of Easter, do you find yourself thinking more about the cross or the empty tomb this week? Is it the resurrection or the passion and suffering that commands your attention?
Last week I celebrated communion with some friends at a mountain retreat. We watched scenes from The Passion of the Christ before we took the elements, and many were crying as they watched Jesus suffering.
The cross is a significant part of Christianity, but so is the tomb. It's empty. The cross is the altar upon which Jesus made His sacrifice, but the tomb is the place He won victory over sin, death, hell and the grave.
The sorrow of Good Friday and the immensity of what happened on the cross should never be diminished. But if we stop there and make Christianity all about the cross, we ignore the reason for our hope.
I pray that as you celebrate Easter, you are filled with the joy of the Lord, and know that "He is not here. He is Risen!"
Celebrating the Risen Lord,

Industry Interview Saving Terri Schiavo: Her Brother Bobby's Crusade by Angela Walker In February of 1990, Bobby Schindler's life took a dramatic and unexpected turn when his sister Terri collapsed at her home and was left with a profound brain injury. For 15 years, he advocated on his sister's behalf and became a staunch supporter for the pro-life and disability rights movements. After Terri's death in March of 2005, Bobby left his teaching job to challenge people around the world to educate themselves regarding the dangers of euthanasia. Last year, Ken Carpenter (Franklin Springs Family Media), who regularly produces Joni Eareckson Tada's show Joni and Friends, created The Terri Schiavo Story. What was your response when the producers asked to do a documentary about your sister? And what was the most important thing you wanted to see it communicate? Bobby: Knowing that Joni was behind it, I was very comfortable and willing to sit down and interview with her. We've known Joni for some time, and her values and beliefs are in line with ours. We're advocating really for the same issue she advocates for: the value and dignity of human life. We were very happy to be approached by Joni, and happy to do this for her. There are two things we wanted to see out of it... Faith Like Potatoes Dove Family-Approved Recommended for ages 12 and over

Dove Review: This is a very touching and moving story of one man's trials and tribulations which try his faith. Angus is a very intense man who fights his own inner demons with his farm in Africa and family until he makes a life changing discovery. He turns his life around when he gives it to God. With new found faith that is challenged by many different circumstances he must believe that the Lord has a plan for him. We all face challenges in our lives and sometimes question our own faith. This movie may make everyone take a hard look at their own lives and see that changes can be made. This story will have you looking at your own spiritual life in a new light. Dove awards the "Family-Approved" Seal to this film. Due to some intense scenes we recommend it for ages 12 and over. Resurrection Films
