Hi <<First Name>>,

Today is Thanksgiving Day, a holiday established to commemorate the bounty of an autumn harvest. In 1621, American colonists held a celebration of their first year in the New World.

They invited the local Indian chief and 90 of his tribe to a feast of thanks. One of the foods they enjoyed was popcorn. I don’t think they watched any movies, but I’m sure they enjoyed some form of entertainment.

I did a random survey of our staff and asked what they are thankful for. We all have many things for which to give thanks, but these are at the top of the list right now:

• My nephew’s survival of a delicate surgery
• God’s sovereign control over the chaos of my life
• Having my marriage back
• Health
• My family, even my brothers-in-law
• God’s provision
• Going to Ohio to be with family for Christmas, and the end of biology
• God’s personal nature and very real presence in my life
• A job I love so much I stay up all night working (and a wife who understands)
• A new home and friends who encourage and support me through a significant life change
  
  What are the people or things that cause you to stop and give thanks? I hope you have many reasons to be grateful.

Though the stars of “Prince Caspian” are both male and in their 20’s, there’s much more to them than just pretty faces.  Coming from entirely different backgrounds, both Ben Barnes and William Moseley have a unique perspective on their careers, “Narnia”, and much more.

Ben Barnes, (Prince Caspian) is set to continue the Narnian legacy by reprising his role as Caspian in the films to come.  William Moseley, (High King Peter from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe), says “Goodbye” to Narnia with the release of this film.

In Transporter 3, Jason Statham returns to the role that first made him an action star.  He’s Frank Martin, a former Special Forces officer who now does odd driving jobs for some less than legitimate clients.  This time, however, he is unavailable, fishing with his French inspector buddy, and suggests another person for the job.  When that doesn’t work out, the bad guys come knocking on his door, determined to make him available whether he wants to be or not.

Dove Review:
This follow-up to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is a darker, more intense version of "The Chronicles of Narnia." There is a bit more evil to contend with in this one. As a dwarf in the film says: "You might find Narnia a more savage place then you remember." The wicked King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto) fights against his nephew, Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes), the rightful heir to the throne of Narnia. Yet there is still plenty of charm left over from the first installment, with the addition of some fascinating new characters and the return of the four rulers from the first movie, namely Peter, Edmund, Susan and Lucy. These four have all grown as characters since the first story, and it shows in the film's plot line.
