JAN WILKER LECTURE
Wednesday, September 24

Visiting graphic designer, Jan Wilker, will discuss his work in a public lecture on September 24 at 7:00 PM in the Natural Science building, room 326.

Co-founder of the karlssonwilker design studio, Wilker and his partner have redefined contemporary design with an unconventional and often satirical twist on typography, publication design, and information graphics.  Karlssonwilker’s client list includes MoMA, MTV, Capitol Records, and the New York Times Magazine.

For more information on Wilker visit:
www.karlssonwilker.com.

All students taking classes in the department are invited to join AAH faculty and graduate students for a day-long exploration of Chicago’s art scene.  You will have the opportunity to visit the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Field Museum, etc.  In addition to viewing work at museums, you can walk through Chicago’s gallery districts.  Since each student has their own interests, you will be able to select which museums and galleries you prefer to see.

You must register by October 6, 2008 at the Cashier’s Office located in room 110 of the Hannah Administration building.  When you register at the Cashier’s Office, you will be asked to pay a $25.00 student contribution fee.
Please note – there are a limited number of seats!  You should sign up ASAP to assure you have a spot.

If you miss the registration deadline, please contact Michelle Word at
wordmich@msu.edu  or 517.432.3961 to see if there are any open spots still available.
