Ronit’s Corner
We went to NYC last weekend, but only for a few hours. We had to taste some NYC food and of course, SHOP, SHOP, SHOP!
First we checked into the Marriott on Lexington and 48th. It was a good location and for the money, just right ($289/night). We grabbed a cab and went to Soho to visit Satellite Paris Jewelers where I bought a great ring and a beautiful necklace. Check out their website
www.satelliteparis.com. I may bring them to the salon for the holidays, let me know what you think…
Then we stopped at a couple of shoes stores. How fun, lots of shoes and lots of great finds! We sat down looking at all the people passing by with nice sundresses or a pair of jeans and a great flowing top; lots of fabric very city chic.
Now about the hair, lots of short hair - very French, long hair with lots of layers, free and fluffy, and those dramatic Bobs, or Care in French, so much elegance. Rich hair colors with just a few highlights that looked almost like faded ribbons. It looked so sophisticated and tastefully done. The blondes where so creamy, just like my yogurt with pineapple and fresh shaved coconut…
Definitely you must try NYC in the summer - good sales, great fashion and good food. The design team is going to NY this month to Bumble and bumble University for four days. Let’s see what they come up with.!
