Upcoming Training: Introduction to Social Media - June 9th, Hartford CT
We are very happy to be partnering with the CT Association of Nonprofits to  offer our three-hour Introduction to Social Media on June 9th.  View their website for more information. 

Upcoming Training: FACING CHANGE: A Retreat for Nonprofit Executive Directors - August, 5 -7, Storrs, CT
Jane will be one of the faculty members at the "FACING CHANGE: A Retreat for Nonprofit Executive Directors" program being held by the University of Connecticut's Nonprofit Leadership Program.  FACING CHANGE is a four-day peer-to-peer learning and strategy-sharing retreat where executive directors  will come together to learn and to discuss how to plan effectively for the challenges a nonprofit and its partners will face in the future.  For registration information, see the program website.

Other Recent Training Programs & Speaking Engagments
Jane recently conducted two training programs in Chicago.  The first entitled, "Establishing Networks Among Nonprofit Organizations: A Workshop For Homeless Providers", examined the different types of networks nonprofits are utilizing today and the purposes and structure of each type.  The second entitled, "Sharing “Back Office” Functions and Saving Money", focused on the creation of management service organizations. 

Jane was also the keynote speaker at the Calgary Foundation Volunteer Learning Day in March. Her talk focused on how to assess the feasibility of collaborative grant proposals and provided a deeper understanding of the costs and work involved when a foundation proactively recommends that two or more organizations work together on an initiative.
