I-295 Realtime Traffic Update now available on FreeportUSA.com... We have now added more helpful tools for our visitors and employees that travel to Freeport from the north. By going to our FMA website and clicking on the "Getting Here" link, you can now connect directly to the statewide 511ME Traffic advisory system, click on the live Travel Cams for the entire Maine Turnpike and now you can even access realtime traffic info and live webcams along the Route 201 Construction detour for the I-295 project. Among other things, you can see average speed along the detour and the average number of cars per hour along the route and any projected delays. The information automatically updates every ten minutes.
Your store hours... We have updated the Top Picks After 6 Page on the web to reflect summer hours as of July to the best of our knowledge. You can view the page here. If you are open later than 6 pm, please check that page to make sure you are listed and that the hours are correct. Store hours after six are the most often requested amenity in every customer survey we do. Please email any corrections or additions to me directly at dcollins@freeportusa.com right away. Gift Certificate Reminder... If you have new staff working for the summer, please let them know that YOU DO ACCEPT FREEPORT MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION GIFT CERTIFICATES. (You do, you know.) Instruct your staff to process the FMA gift certificates in the same way you process a travelers check. Include them in your deposits the same way. The FMA Gift Certificates are a great way to bring business to your store, even if you don't have gift certificates of your own. Many Freeport lodging establishments include FMA Gift Certificates in their package plans, so make sure you don't miss out on that extra business!
