Terry Dean's Advisory Council formed
The Terry College has formed a new senior-level committee of volunteers to advise the dean on the strategic direction of the college, help foster corporate relations and support or lead initiatives for the good of the college. More »

Tenth straight year in U.S. News Top 30
Terry's undergraduate program is ranked 30th overall and 18th among public business schools, according to U.S. News & World Report's annual ranking of the "Best Business Programs." Insurance and Real Estate again ranked in the Top 3, and Management Information Systems ranked in the Top 10. More »

Terry-Sanford Research Award winners
Seventeen professors undertook new research projects this summer with additional financial support from a Terry-Sanford Research Award, with priority given to research proposals that are the likeliest to lead to publication in top academic journals. More »

Obituary for Dr. Earl Davis
Earl F. Davis, who gave 30 years of dedicated service to the Tull School of Accounting, died Aug. 8 in Athens. He was 82. Davis was remembered as a professor "who cared about each of his students and followed many of them throughout their careers." The Earl Davis Chair of Taxation, endowed with $2 million in total gifts earlier this year, will be an enduring memorial to Davis. More »

Sonny Seiler, Arthur Blank entertain audiences
Days before Uga VII was introduced to his adoring fans, Uga's owner Sonny Seiler spoke at Terry Third Thursday. Both a webcast and podcast of the Atlanta speaker series are available for download. Registration opens for 2009 Economic Outlook
The Georgia Economic Outlook series annually draws thousands of influential business and governmental leaders to 10 luncheons around the state. The Dec. 3 kickoff luncheon in Atlanta will feature former presidential candidate Steve Forbes and Gov. Sonny Perdue. More »
